Long considered one of the flagship wineries of the Heathcote wine region, Heathcote Estate’s 2021 Nebbiolo represents the inaugural release of their single vineyard Nebbiolo.

Heathcote Estate’s Nebbiolo block is a new section of vineyard established in 2017, and has been organic from the ground up. It was officially certified organic in September 2021 and from the 2022 vintage this will be reflected on the label. 

Mid crimson red in colour. The aromas are pure Nebbiolo – uncluttered and clearly identifiable. Pure red fruits, rose petals, cranberry, pomegranate, campart and lick of wet stone. The palate is super fine and detailed, firm tannins, pure red fruits and a fine acid line create a compelling wine. It’s bright and clean and flows effortlessly across the palate, finishing long and savoury. This wine will age well in the cellar for many years to come.
